What is Metacampaign and what are Metacampaign Options

Metacampaign Options are activities that a character can perform outside of the regular campaign. These activities can including joining a metaorganization, participating in the Verbobonc Town Project, or anything else that takes place outside the scope of an adventure.

Metaorganizations

Metaorganizations are groups within Verbobonc that your character can join. These groups have their own requirements for membership and benefits that they provide their members. Likewise, they sometimes require their members to undertake missions or perform activities on behalf of the organization. As a character advances, they can qualify for promotion to higher ranks within the organization until eventually they are among the leaders.

Verbobonc Town Project

The Verbobonc Town Project is a grand experiment. Its concept is simple, its impact – profound. The experience of Living Greyhawk is one of role-playing and adventure, with heroes sojourning against threats near and far. Never is the threat more poignant, however, than when it affects ones home.

The Verbobonc Town Project allows your character to become a part of a community and impact not just the region, but your fellow players. Here is a sampling of some of the things available to your character

• Build a home
• Start a business
• Found a church
• Become a leader in your metaorganization.
• Start a school
• Become Mayor of the town.

As you participate in your town, the town grows. The more you invest in your town, the more benefits it provides its citizens.
