WotC logoWelcome to the website for the Viscounty of Verbobonc, part of the Living Greyhawk campaign. Living Greyhawk (LG) is a campaign run by the RPGA Network, which is part of Wizards of the Coast. Living Greyhawk is designed to allow players to influence the world by their actions. Living Greyhawk is organized so that different areas of the real world are responsible for coordinating different areas of the World of Greyhawk. The Viscounty of Verbobonc corresponds to the states of Illinois and Indiana.

Please feel free to contact the regional administrators (or Triad) below if you have any questions or comments about Verbobonc or Living Greyhawk .

Origins Super Living Greyhawk Fiesta - additional information

Hey all - by now many of you have seen the Origins announcement regarding the special events and the Fiesta slot. For those that haven't - you can find the link here: http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/origins/rpg-blurbs

I wanted to clarify some information regarding the Living Greyhawk Late-Night Super Fiesta

Living Greyhawk Late-Night Super Fiesta
Generic tickets only. Players are responsible for mustering themselves and finding a DM. Any non-special core adventure ever released is open to play, as well as regional adventures from Years 1-2 and 7-8! DMs are responsible for bringing adventures and play records, as well as converting 3rd Edition adventures to v.3.5 rules. RPGA HQ will only provide tracking forms and play space. Now expanded to four nights, the Super Fiesta runs midnight – 5 am on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

There are a couple of caveats regarding the play of Year 1 and Year 2 regional adventures - specifically that you are responsible for obtaining these adventures on your own. The Verbobonc Triad is not responsible for providing these adventures to you. Also, to reiterate what is stated above - the DM is responsible for providing all play records and for converting 3rd Edition adventurs to 3.5 rules.

To assist DMs with any conversion, I have uploaded the D&D 3.0 to 3.5 Update Booklet and the Living Greyhawk 3.5 Conversion Rules document that was originally released back in 2003 to the Verbobonc website. You can them in the Miscellaneous area of the Downloads section. These documents should help you convert any Year 1 or Year 2 adventures to 3.5 format. Of course, current regional adventures (Year 7 and Year 8) are available for play and the Triad can provide these upon request (as per the normal ordering process).

Thanks!

What is the RPGA?

RPGA Logo

The RPGA is the roleplaying arm of organized play at Wizards of the Coast dedicated to providing play opportunities and support for Dungeons & Dragons and other d20 System games. Originally, RPGA was an acronym for Roleplaying Gamers Association. For a good while, we slapped on the word Network and went by RPGA Network. A few years back [frustrated with the redundancy of Roleplaying Gamers Association Network], we streamlined all that and now we're simply the RPGA.

We're a social bunch and want to make it easier for people to enjoy the face-to-face roleplaying experience. Recognizing that sometimes it's hard finding a gaming group and it’s a lot of work for GMs to provide new material week after week, we provide free adventures to members from our extensive adventure database, and an events calendar featuring games all over the world.
