WotC logoWelcome to the website for the Viscounty of Verbobonc, part of the Living Greyhawk campaign. Living Greyhawk (LG) is a campaign run by the RPGA Network, which is part of Wizards of the Coast. Living Greyhawk is designed to allow players to influence the world by their actions. ------------------------------------------------------------

As a result of events that occurred during VERI8-01 Investiture, which ran this past weekend at Winter War 35, as well as other events in recent Verbobonc adventures, the following metaorgs are removed from play:

  • House Chondell
  • House DeChutes
  • House Deleveu
  • House Galans
  • House Haxx
  • House Rhynehurst
  • House Saflynd
  • House Stefania

The Mounted Borderers as a metaorg are removed from play, and all members are now Bondsmen of House Estival. An updated Bondsmen of House Estival metaorg certificate will be available within the week. Current Bondsmen of House Estival must convert to the new certificate. Disaffected members of the Mounted Borderers or current Bondsmen of House Estival are welcome to leave the organization if they find their new position unpalatable, but may not ever rejoin the Bondsmen of House Estival at a later time.

The Church of Trithereon metaorg is removed from play. Members may use the Itinerant Faith metaorg from this point forward. However, known membership as Trithereon worshipper or possession of a Trithereon holy symbol is now considered Sedition under the laws of the Viscounty.

The Wrinkle Academy metaorg is removed from play due to the loss of key leadership and destruction of most of its laboratory and library space.

The Protectors of the Iron Wood and House Shannus metaorgs are removed from play, as Shannus has been stripped of his title and lands and is confined to the town of Glory.

A new metaorganization, the Company of the Black Rose, has is available for those that wish to join and find its background and goals appealing.

The Viscounty is changing. The end is near. The year is 598. The place – Verbobonc!

What is the RPGA?

RPGA Logo

The RPGA is the roleplaying arm of organized play at Wizards of the Coast dedicated to providing play opportunities and support for Dungeons & Dragons and other d20 System games. Originally, RPGA was an acronym for Roleplaying Gamers Association. For a good while, we slapped on the word Network and went by RPGA Network. A few years back [frustrated with the redundancy of Roleplaying Gamers Association Network], we streamlined all that and now we're simply the RPGA.

We're a social bunch and want to make it easier for people to enjoy the face-to-face roleplaying experience. Recognizing that sometimes it's hard finding a gaming group and it’s a lot of work for GMs to provide new material week after week, we provide free adventures to members from our extensive adventure database, and an events calendar featuring games all over the world.
